Anthony Madu, an 11-year-old boy from Lagos, Nigeria, went viral after his silky smooth ballet moves charmed the internet landing him a scholarship with the prestigious NYC Ballet Company. As reported by NBC Miami , actress Viola Davis and Cynthia Erivo came forward to support the boy if he chooses to pursue a career in dance.

Cynthia Erivo spoke with NBC News and said: "They're in Nigeria. I happen to be Nigerian as well. And I was like, this felt like a kismet moment." She added: "I think it's extremely important because I think boys are not encouraged to do this incredibly hard craft that actually encourages strength and stamina and beauty."

According to the report, Anthony was extremely happy with the opportunity that came his way and said: "It makes me feel strong and happy when I'm dancing." He added: "I see my future like that I'm going to be a professional dancer when I grew up." We sincerely hope he finds the success he deserves.
