Rapper Azealia Banks sent her fans into a worried frenzy when she posted some really cryptic and dark messages on Instagram that clearly hinted suicide. She may not have meant to go ahead with something so dark but her words did scare her fans and her well-wishers to no end.
She wrote: "Yea, I think I'm done here. Banks added: "This pandemic, extreme lack of social interaction, no intimacy, combined with constant public ridicule is making life harder than its worth. I think I will end my tenure here on earth soon."
She continued further, and wrote: "My soul is tired. I'm ready to go." She also explained that she is not looking for any kind of sympathy. She said: "I will document my last times and release a film for you all to finally understand me, from my perspective."
Her lines were indeed scary!
She asked her fans not to bombard her with messages and that she was at peace. What else could one construe from such words other than that she may have had suicidal thoughts?
She, thankfully, recovered from the dark place she had found herself in and got back to her fans, much calmer this time. She put out another video and captioned it: "I’m fine, better than I was before."
