Naya Rivera, known for her role in the hit TV series Glee, has been reported missing under strange circumstances. She was considered missing after her 4-year-old son was found drifting alone on a boat. The incident occured at Lake Piru in California and the authorities believe that she may have drowned, although no substantial evidence has emerged proving this theory.

As reported by Good Morning America , Rivera and her son had rented a boat and went out on the lake at about 1 p.m. local time. Eric Buschow, captain at the Ventura County Sheriff's Office, told ABC News that their boat was found drifting on the lake and was spotted by another boat. Rivera's son was alone and asleep in the boat and the authorities were alerted to this fact immediately.

According to reports, the child confirmed that he had been swimming in the lake with his mother but he got back into the boat while his mother didn't. As reported by Good Morning America, her purse was found inside the boat and her car was located at the ramp outside the lake.


The search continues and her fans are hoping that she is found safe and soon.
